Family: Asclepiadaceae
Destribution:  Richtersveld Northern Cape ZA.
Description:  The obtusely 4-sided stems are 90 mm long.  Stems are light green and tinged purplish when exposed to sunlight.
Flower:  The flower (22 mm in diameter) is solitary on the pedicel.  The corolla lobes are greenish and form a bowl where they unite with each other.  The flower is reddish-purple and striated with white lines.
Cultivation:  Shade or full sun, little water.
Propagation:  Seeds and cuttings.
