Quaqua N.E. Br revised by P.V. Bruyns is a genus in the Asclepiadaceae family.  The genus Quaqua incorporates all the "hard stemmed" Caralluma species of the Western and Northern Cape of South Africa.  The genus includes 13 species, 9 subspecies and 2 varieties.
