Description: Pachypodium lameri is a succulent, spiny tree that can reach 8 meters in height. The stems are covered with numerous spines. Leaves are dark green in colour, between 15-20cm in length, leaves linear in shape, leaves are dense at the apex. Apex branches into 2-3 branches after flowering. |

Flower: Attractive assymetrical petals, the flowers are white. The seed pods look similiar to the seed "horns" of asclepiads. |

Cultivation: The following cultivation tips are for Kleinzee, NCape, ZA. Under UV deck (UV protected clear greenhouse plastic), more than average water, little in winter. |
