Description:

Birds like doves and pidgeons eat the seed from freshly sown trays and house sparrows like to peck holes in mesembs (Dinteranthus and Lithops).Treatment:

Environmentally freindly:

  • For doves and pidgeons simply cover the trays with clear plastic or glass.

  • Keep house sparrows away from your plants by closing holes in the greenhouse with birdmesh or cover the plants outside with mesh cages.
