Locality: south of Augrabies Distribution: Found in Namaqualand, Northern Cape, RSA. Description: The new leaves appear from within the old leaf pair fissure which gives the impression of the plant having sets of alternate adpressed leaves. Leaves are smooth Flower: The large flowers are yellow, pinkish or orange in colour. Fruit capsules are 8-19 locular.
