Distribution: Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania & Uganda |

Description: The green stems are angular and rudimentary leaves appear at intervals. |

Flowers: The flowers are 3cm in diameter, the corona tubes are dark red. Corolla lobes are red with white to cream coloured markings across the lobe. Corolla lobe margins are ciliate. |
