Distribution:  Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania & Uganda

Description:  The green stems are angular and rudimentary leaves appear at intervals.

Flowers:  The flowers are 3cm in diameter, the corona tubes are dark red.  Corolla lobes are red with white to cream coloured markings across the lobe.  Corolla lobe margins are ciliate.

Propagation:  Seeds and cuttings.
