Distribution:  Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania & Uganda

Description:  The light-green stems are angular and rudimentary leaves appear at intervals.  The plants can reach one meter in height.

Flowers:  The flowers are 5cm in diameter, the corona tubes are yellow to orange.  Corolla lobes are reddish-brown with small yellow dots.  Corolla lobe margins are black and ciliate near the apex.

Propagation:  Seeds and cuttings.
